GENE FORMS

New Data

1. Go to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/GeneKOForm.html"
2. Fill information out on both tabs
3. Click a field's corresponding help button to have the field explained (Note: "Date Completed" and "Date Started" are for future editing, and are not accessable at the time of data entry)
4. Click "Enter Knock-Out Content"
(The browser will redirect to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/AlleleKOForm.jsp")

5. Fill information out on both tabs (Note: The second "Gene ID" field is there for implementation of future features, it is currently locked)
6. Click "Add Allele Entry" to save the data for that allele (Note: If more than one allele exists for a given gene, repeat steps 5 and 6 until all allele information is entered)
7. Click "Done adding Allele's" to save all the information
(The browser will redirect to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/DisplayPage.jsp")

8. If the entered data is not correct, click "Edit Knock-Out Details" at the bottom of the page to edit the information

Edit Data

1. Go to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/GeneInfo.jsp"
2. Click on the desired KO ID to edit
3. Edit information, and submit (Note: This process will be like entering new data, except all the fields will be populated with the existing data)

STRAIN FORMS

New Data

1. Go to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/StrainForm.jsp"
2. Input information
3. Click "Submit Strain Entry"
(The browser will redirect to"http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/StrainCloneForm.html")

4. Input information
5. Click "Submit Clone Entry" (Note: If inserting multiple clones, repeate steps 4 and 5 until all desired information is submitted)
6. Click "Go to Plasmid Form"
(The browser will redirect to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/StrainPlasmidForm.jsp")

5. If there is a KO Plasmid to submit, select it and click "Submit Plasmid Entry"
6. Cick "Select Clone Designate"
(The browser will redirect to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/CloneDesignate.jsp")

7. Select desired clone, and click "Enter Designated Clone"
(The browser will redirect to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/StrainDisplayPage.jsp")

8. If there is any incorrect information pertaining to the selected clone, click "Edit Strain Details"

Edit Data

1. Go to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/StrainInfo.jsp"
2. Click on the desired Strain ID to edit.
3. Edit the information, and submit
(The browser will redirect to "http://knoesis1.wright.edu/TarletonFormManager/StrainDisplayPage.jsp")

4. Click "Edit Strain Details" to change the desired information (Note: This process will be like entering new data, except all the fields will be populated with the existing data)
